IMG_0444Back in September, it was an absolute honour to take part in the third international poetry translation workshop in Riga hosted by Latvian Literature. Nine poets (Inga Pizāne, Eduards Aivars, Henriks Eliass Zēgners, Katrīna Rudzīte, Ryan Van Winkle, Llŷr Gwyn Lewis, William Letford, MacGillivray and myself) came together from Latvia and Great Britain to translate each other’s poems. The project ended with a public poetry reading in the bookshop café “NicePlace”. A video was made by Toms Harjo, which beautifully captures the process and performances.
