Wonderful to see this anthology in print, the collected translations from our Highlight Arts City to City:Glasgow to Lahore project. It includes translations by Jim Carruth, Vicki Husband, Kishwar Naheed, Afshan Sajeed, Gerry Cambridge, Khaled Javaid Jan, Ali Akbar Natiq and myself, and is published by Lahore’s Sang-e-Meel Publications.
The book was launched last month at the Lahore Literary Festival with a collaborative music performance by Sarah Hayes and Sara Kazmi and there was also an event by new pairings of storytellers and illustrators Ian Stephen, Kate Leiper, Mujahid Eshai and Mehreen Fatima. You can read more about the festival here .
Thanks again to Highlight Arts and the British Council.
